CodeX Security Control Panel

What is CodeX?

CodeX is an emergency notification and alert platform designed for organizations that need a way to account for building safety during critical events. Administrators can set up groups of phones and, if an emergency arises, initiate a prerecorded message to those groups. Recipients must respond within a set time using a pin code to mark their room as safe, unsafe, or unreported. These responses are time-stamped, collected, and displayed for administrators, providing first responders with essential real-time information.

With the addition of the Clearly Anywhere mobile softphone, a CodeX can be initiated or responded to using a cell phone from any location.

Compatible with ComXchange, TangoPBX, and FreePBX® Based Systems (15 and Newer).

Panic Button K-12 Education

K-12 and Higher Education

CodeX can send announcements to an entire school or selected groups. Classrooms or offices reply with a short code for Safe or Unsafe, and non-responses are flagged for follow-up. On college campuses, Public Safety can target specific buildings and record replies, giving first responders and administrators critical information during incidents like gas leaks or security threats.

Panic Button for Government

Government & Municipal

Courthouses can have dozens of courtrooms, and municipalities often house many departments in one or more large buildings. CodeX lets administrators set call groups by room, floor, department, or other designations and alert them all at once during an emergency. Responses are logged with date and time, giving administration and first responders the information they need to act quickly.

Panic Button in hotels

Hospitality

Hotels, resorts, and conference centers can have hundreds of rooms and large public areas. CodeX allows staff to send emergency notifications to specific areas or the entire property. Responses from staff and guests are logged, giving management and emergency services current information to coordinate an effective response.

Panic Button Health Care

Healthcare

Hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities rely on clear and rapid communication during emergencies. CodeX allows nurse stations, reception, and patient care areas to receive targeted alerts or property-wide notifications. Responses are tracked and shared with administration and first responders, ensuring patients and staff remain safe and accounted for in critical situations.

Panic Button in Retail

Retail

Retail stores and shopping centers often operate with multiple service counters, back offices, and storage areas spread across a large footprint. CodeX gives retail managers the tools to quickly alert staff in an emergency across all these locations. With real-time reporting and response tracking, security teams know exactly which areas are responding and which need follow-up.

Panic Button Corporate and Industrial

Corporate & Industrial

Large office buildings and industrial facilities have many critical points such as reception areas, HR offices, control rooms, and guard stations. CodeX enables administrators to alert specific groups or the entire site at once. Responses are logged for
management and emergency services, giving a real-time view of the situation so that the right actions can be taken without delay.

Why Do Organizations Need the CodeX?

With CodeX you have one more tool to help ensure you are prepared when an emergency happens.

Mark Areas as Safe During an Emergency
Quickly and easily records safe or unsafe responses and displays the information in a color-coded format.

Offers Options for Responses
Rooms can be marked as safe, unsafe, or unreported. ClearlyIP offers tools that integrate with CodeX to allow further clarification on room status.

Verified Location Reports
Reports are recorded for each room, allowing responders to see the rooms they need to be concerned with quickly.

Individual Room Reporting
Announcements can be sent out in call groups or to the entire building. Regardless of the way the announcement is sent, each individual room will have a report designation.

Manages Emergency Announcements
During an emergency the last thing you want to cause is panic. By prerecording the announcements, the administrator can choose which announcement to send and not worry about how it sounds.

Auto Logs Incoming Responses
A date and timestamp are logged for each response. This can be valuable for establishing timelines during an emergency.
