Installing Code X – CX

If you do not see the Code X module under the Advanced Tab and are running ComXchange version 14.14.6 or greater you can install the module through the web gui or command line with the following steps:

Install from the Web Gui

Navigate to the Module Admin module which can be found by using the search function of ComXchange and search for Module Admin

• Use the Check Online button found on the top of the webpage to update the available Modules

• Locate and click on the Code X Module

• Click on the Install Action button

• Scroll to the top or bottom of the page and click on process

• Click on confirm

• Once the module is installed click on the Return button

Install from CLI

Open an SSH session using a terminal emulator program such as putty

Login to the ComXchange with username root and your root password

run the command:

fwconsole ma downloadinstall codex

allow the command to run and when finished you should see a successful install message:

Module codex version 14.1.0.0 successfully installed
